VXDave should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BTCC rounds 22, 23 and 24 @ Rockingham

Thought it was time we had a thread for Rockingham... is that a RED CHEVROLET on the front of the programme? http://www.btcc.net/html/generalnews_detail.php?id=3143

In what event Joe Girling will debut?

Just a stock image surely... can't see a team announcing their entry into a series via the front of a programme (and anyway, those are tickets :P).

apologies, they are indeed tickets! But still, I can't think of any other red-liveried Cruze (not one that looks quite like that!) so perhaps it is Mr Girling's car? Watch this space!

Last I read he was 'likely' to appear at Silverstone or Brands - but who knows? Except him and Techspeed, of course. But you know what I mean. Would be nice if you're right.

You know how the NGTC drivers were complaining about the power of S2000 cars at Knockhill..? Expect the theme to be S2000 drivers talking 18inches at Rockingham...

I think it's just someone playing with the color settings on old BTCC pictures. I see an older spec ('11 and older) Dynamics Civic, old Motorbase BMW (?) and the "red" Cruzes (which seems to have the same livery design as RML had back in 2010 except the colors).

Or maybe just fantasy liveries .

More strange goings on at Team Hard then. We can assume Gilham never had the funds for the season in this case?

Or using the seat to evaluate drivers for next year?
Or using the money that would have been spent running the Civic himself to fund the 2013 NGTC car?

Lots of possibilities which don't necessarily mean one particular conclusion.

Interesting that the story says that Robb Holland is missing Rockingham due to clashing commitments. I thought he originally only intended to do Snetterton and Knockhill anyhow.

Noticed that F1 at Singapore and Rockingham clash. It's a live BBC race too.

Given the ridiculous driving standards in the BTCC at the moment, and the dreadful Knockhill round (boring racing with typical daft contact for light comedic relief) think I'll give this one a miss.

I was planning on going to Rockingham, but am in two minds about it now. Its also a track which is a nightmare for photography, which for me is a real turn off.

That was the original plan, however he said on TTT that he was trying to get the funding together to finish the season.

Supposed to be back for the last two rounds now.

I hear a rumour there may be another driver missing Rockingham!

That's a shame for Welch Motorsport. With the exception of Dynojet and Tony Hughes who are reasonably well-funded, these NGTC cars aren't exactly showing their cost-effectiveness for the small privateers at the moment.

Gloria LeicesterFan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Tony Gilham enquired after Knockhill about paying for a one off drive at ES Racing.

Chris James was to stand down if this happened.

I think I may skip the Rockingham rounds. I was thinking of attending, but I may go to the Britcar @ Silverstone instead.

Nope redshoes, not him either.

Inside BTCC tweeted it earlier, which I take to be a pretty reliable source.

Griffin along with Neate, James are an absolute joke and deserve no place on the grid.
