questoin for ALL marshalls how do you tell how was at donington SATURDAY for DTM?





answer they are ones walking around wearing silver DTM Mercedes-benz jackets
given to us at the party (throw) by merecedes saturday evening

There is now the new marshaling grade of Astro-marshal for anyone in silver

I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased that the DTM organisers thought of doing something like that for us. Apparently each team takes it in turn to host the marshal's party at each event. Didn't please our photographer friend who paid £25 for his....

Astro marshal does that mean we pick up errant aeroplanes from their flightpaths??!!

Somehow I can't imagine ever seeing this posted in the F1 thread !!

which is odd, because Norbert Haug who made the speech and the presentation is Ron Dennis's right-hand man. Since DTM and Mercedes in particular have done this ever since they started visiting these shores, you wonder why it doesn't happen for F1, ETCC, etc., and more particularly our top ranking domestic series - BTCC in particular. But as I said elsewhere, Thank You Mercedes and Herr Haug, it was much appreciated.
