anyones got sites like mulsannescorner which is not focused towards le-mans and ALMS only?
i only found a few general ones. and they don't show much about the evolution of a particular race car.

Problem is, sportscars are the only race cars that seem to go throught very definite stages of development.

F1 for instance, you would need to update every race weekend, and a new dossier for each car, each year. The logistics of tracking all the changes over the year, especially the big teams which are the ones we really want to know about, is a nightmare.

Rally and tourers seem to only ever change paint jobs, it really only leaves sportscars.
