I voted for Soper, but I think Andy Rouse is the best I have ever seen! He is undisputed, he won 60 races and was extremely smooth, just watch him from the in-car cameras.

Why aren't John Cleland, Will Hoy, Frank Biela, Jo Winkelhock, and Paul Radisich not on the list there?? Oh well, we all forget sometimes.

It has to be Andy ROuse, the greatest touring car driver ever, and one of the best engineers too.

Tony Lanfranchi, Barrie Williams, Martin Brundle, Stirling Moss, Vince Woodman, Gerry Marshall, Richard Longman, Frank Gardner, Brian Muir, Jeff Allam, Gabriele Tarquini, Win Percy, Robb Gravett.....

not that there's a wide playing field here, of course.

My money's on Jim Clark.

I meant current British (by nationality) drivers. My all time fave BTCC racer is Smokin' Jo Winklehock by the way, but here I voted for Anthony Reid (and this morning seems to have justified the choice)
