A lot of people have knocked the JGTC championship for being fake and being bias towards the japanese manufacturers but if you see the amount of effort and money that the manufactures put into what is essentially a national championship its no surprise that it is bias (if an international works effort was to compete this might change). Also have any of you "doubter" see the quality of the racing and the large entry lists? Ok it might not be the purest form of motorsport, however motorsport is not what it was!! Watch a few races and you will be hooked

Frankly, the results aren't a great surprise, since Fuji has tended to favour big engines and turbo chargers.

Speck- the reason for the post was the GT300 class more than gt500- a Viper! and ferrari- 2 non -japanese cars winning at Fuji and Japan in a sereis people spit on for being Japan-o-centric.
and that Supra in GT500 is Toyota's new 5.2 litre V8 for racing-big engine indeed. |
