Phase3 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
V8 Team Ownership

Just thinking about our "Aussie V8's" and the breakdown of the countries that actually control the teams in the championship, and it appears our championship is truely becoming multinational. Maybe this could spawn a "nations cup" style of championship, such as seen in champ cars? (I acknowledge that this will never happen as it will isolate the V8's main marketplace completely for foreign owned teams)

Whilst the below list is only going on what I have gleaned by reading the sterling information that pop's up in forums such as this, and subsequently will be open for much debate, hopefully its resonably accurate!

Australia

Jack Daniels Racing
Dick Johnson Racing
WPS Racing
Super Cheap Auto Racing
Repco Valvoline Cummins Team
Team BOC
Team Sirromet Wines
Fujitsu Racing
Autobarn Racing
Glenfords Racing

New Zealand

Stone Brothers Racing
Tasman Motorsport
Team Kiwi Racing

Great Britan

Team Betta Electrical
Ford Performance Racing
Holden Racing Team
Toll HSV Dealer Team

Makes for interesting reading!

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Spot on phase 3, wonder how long before more UK teams take over the taxi teams.

Yep, but aren't the Toll cars still 'owned' by the Kelly's?

On that basis, GTR, you could contest the ownership of TKR, PCR, and the fragmented Tasman team as allbeing Australian owned

So does this mean if an apprentice starts working at BJR whos grandparents were from Russia that BJR is a Russian team?

No, but if the Russian accumulates his roubles and buys the team and/or the franchise licence slot, then it quickly becomes an operation with Russian owners. Assuming Russia actually still exists as an entity.

Almost everyone throughout NZ!

Mr John has lived in NZ for 15 years and never hidden the fact he was born in Aussie.

Well SBR and PMM have English-born drivers in Ingall and Coulthard respectively...

I did notice the 4 super powers of the category all have British links... thats an interesting thing to note. And having just dated a sexy pom, I gota say theyre all not so bad after all!

Last time I checked Skaife still owned HRT and the kellys still own HSV teams.

But if your refering to Tom W as a Great Britian type person big mistake as he is a Scotchsmen.

Aye. Skaifey still does own HRT, but I'm not 100% sure the Kelly's still own HSVDT...

How exactly did they kick Scotland out of Great Britain?

I think they're trying to leave of their own accord. For the time being at least, he's still British. But not a Briton, they're from Wales or Northern France. And as the Scottish rugby team discovered, some Scotsmen are really Kiwis. No-one ever said this nationality lark was easy...
