binbrook trackday

We had our first trackday at Binbrook on saturday, just like to say a big thank you to all at Javelin, to WRC Colin and to the Sheffield Escort Lads, for your help in making it a great day. Only regret not starting it sooner! eat trackday, sleep trackday, drink BUDWEISER!!

Great! Welcome to TenTenths.

Could you tell us about your experience of it? Anything you would have liked to have done?

what sections do they use and is it broken-up??
remember rallying there and it was more like a "forest" stage than a tarmac rally..........!!

binbrook trackday

the track is made up of parts of the old airfield and its peri-track, there were some parts that were a bit rough but on the whole it was in pretty good condition, a mixture of tarmac and concrete, big difference in grip, especially early on as it was quite wet, (we had a spinner on the sighting lap!!) Javelin are trying to strike a deal with the land owner to develop the track, add more tarmac, and increase the amount of trackdays there. It was well organised, very few flags and a good bunch of guys, recommended. only regret that WRC colin broke his WRC focus before we got a go in it, still theres always next time! see oct issue fast fords cover car.
