so what was the point of the 18 anyway. An exercise in capital expenditure? (hows that for McLaren speak). At least race the damn thing and call next years car the 18b. I bet the 19 wouldnt look that much different then the current 18 that it would necessitate a whole new tub etc.

If the 18's tub can't survive a crash test it probably would.
