Your favourite driver for the '07 season?

hello everyone,

after reading on the audi pulling out of ALMS thread and someone saying the press follow the stars not the cars, it left me wondering.

who will everyone or anyone infact on this forum be supporting driver wise for the 2007 season, personally im a bit confused no real role model drivers for me in the LMS or ALMS at the moment although sam hancock and allan mcnish spring to mind.

i will probably be cheering for jan lammers, sam hancock(the guy in the autosport courage V alfa article, i get confused between hignett and hancock)and of course allan mcnish.

who will all of you guys be supporting?

The battle in the LMP2 class will be great and beautiful, and I'm sure that Romain will be at the top !
Furthermore, Henri Pescarolo said this week-end on a french radio that Romain would probably drive one of his car in Le Mans

A great year is coming for Romain !

I shall quite definitely be cheering on Jamie Campbell-Walter this year. Having been sacrificed by Creation for much of 2006 in favour of the Gabbiani/Ortiz spondoolies, it'll be good to see him back for a full season with Creation.

I just hope his efforts are not going to be thwarted by pedestrian co-drivers.........

My man for this year is Lieb .....

Hope the Autorlando 997 turns into a full works supported chassis for Le Mans . They need one car full of hot shots .

Lieb-Henzler-Kelleners would do nicely !!!

Ben Devlin! I can only hope that the Mazda catches up sometime soon with the rest of P2 so we can see, a la Laguna last year, how good a driver Ben is.

Jarek Janis! Blistering speed in the Saleen last year, hopefully he'll contribute to Spyker Squadron doing better this year.

In LMP1 I'll probably Pedro Lamy or Jean-Marc Gounon, and in LMP2 Ryan Briscoe. In GT1 I'm for Soheil Ayari/Stéphane Ortelli and for GT2 definitely Emmanuel Collard or Jarek Janis.

In no particular order, here's a half dozen to start with:

Mika Salo, Jan Magnussen, David Brabham, Alan McNish, Nic Minassian, Jonny Kane.

Oh, and Nelsinho Piquet if he does Le Mans again
