Thought I’d clear a few things up so assumptions aren’t made. ����

Today’s news isn’t personal - it’s all a business decision.

We haven’t had much time at all to process it. There’s a bit of shock, upset and confusion, but also, not our first rodeo, so, you know.. ����

Roger and Cathy, and all Penske staff the world over have been more than generous and kind to us over many years. We are genuinely so grateful to Penske Racing and personally to Roger a million times over. The man loves racing, loves his drivers and has a huge, caring heart. End of story.

This doesn’t just affect us obviously, but also staff and personnel who work at PCMM.

Think of them and their families first, before you think of Fabs, or us. We’re sad obviously, but we’re going to be ok! ����

We have always tried our best to be prepared for life after racing and honestly, we have thought it was over a few times before. For what ever reason, the universe disagrees and we have learned to just wait for the next opportunity to present itself and as always, grab it with both hands. Keep upbeat, stay positive and be ready. Nothing we can’t do or problem we cannot solve together or without a good attitude. ��

I will note, this is our third sh*tty off season with less than great racing news in four years. The year off receiving less-than-ideal Motorsport news was the year we had a tornado tear down our new house.. which was obviously just great ��

Fabs has taken the news pretty well, but I can also see that little bit of sadness in his slumped shoulders, as he really really loved racing with PCMM. He was so excited for this season, loved working with with Harry, Cookie and the PCM team and could see the momentum swinging in the right direction. He was so proud to be racing for Roger again. We found out Penske had purchased the dealership on the twins birthday and we both we ecstatic for the news. We never thought this was how it would end up.

Whilst news like this isn’t ideal, I’m wildly proud of how resilient we are and how Fabian can continue to hold his head high after all these setbacks. What a guy, honestly. In tougher times we always come together, and I’m really grateful for that.

Our kids are our world, our lives continue to evolve and challenge us, and we still live in our shed waiting for council to approve our stupid septic system for the rebuild (I kid you not ��). I’d really just like a kitchen at this point! Is that too much to ask for 2025! ��

There is so so much to be grateful for, and this is just one door that has closed while many others are still open - and that right there feels like just the greatest privilege, which we can’t forget. Options and opportunities! Who wouldn’t want those?

Thank you all always for the support. It goes way further than you ever realise. Thank you so much ??

And finally, just a few little things we’ve learned along the way to get us through:
- be grateful for great people, times and moments (and your kitchen!), and lessons you’re learning when life is not so great.
- always look for options or opportunities. They’re always there but you might not be seeing them.
- check your home insurance. You’re probably under insured (definitely not optional..!)
- be kind, or at least try to be more kind. It’s free, and feels good
- two things can be true: you can be having a sh*t day (and you’re allowed to) and someone might be having a worse day than you. It’s ok to feel sad and grateful simultaneously.
- lastly, (my favourite!); you can best judge a person when they have nothing. It’s easy to be loved when you have it all to give.

Perhaps some the the unfortunately displaced oily bits and squiggly lines experts can bolster the ranks of one or two Melbourne-based V8Supercar teams who still seem to be finalising their technical lineups..

That’s effectively what Harri Jones has done isn’t it? Taking a car and running it himself?
