The Audi wasn't made to run illegally, so it wasn't running they way it was meant to run. I don't see why the excessive plank wear must mean enhanced performance. I suspect it was the opposite.

The plank being worn means it was scraping the ground more than the other cars. That means the ride height was lower or Audi's suspension is bad. Too worn a plank being grounds for disqualification should let you know that it's a performance gain by having the car that low. I don't know if bouncing is a real reason or if that's just Audi's pr excuse. I remember the Audi really bouncing at Spa last year, but they weren't dq'ed for plank wear.

Same here, it works in the app but not in browser. Nice to see Toyota setting the pace in first few laps.

it seems it doesn't work too well on the app either, because it shows the same "last laps" for quite some time, with the cars being "on the run"...

No cars on track?
RLM doesn't talk about it and nothing on the Live Timing? |

It is updating here on my Firefox. First dry session last year(FP3) had a best time of 1.57.2(iirc).
Very slow pace from Toyota and Audi, so far... |

So, there will be no radio coverage or online streaming for the 3 practice sessions.
Rebellion are currently fastest through the speed traps, 308kph, then Audi (302kph), Toyota a fraction slower than Audi, and Porsche slowest in the the region of 291/292kph. |

RLM are probably busy preparing for the vastly more audience critical Creventic event.

Hindy and Graham will be doing the TV/live video streaming commentary for qualifying and race. Jonny Palmer, Alex Brundle and Trussers will be doing RLM radio commentary for the race only, there will be no qualifying commentary on RLM, from what I understand.

That is really poor coverage!
I can't remember when the WEC/ILMC has ever had no radio coverage at all on the trainings? |

They used to cover every session of LMS as well, but started axing them in IIRC 2013
It's interesting to have so little coverage of series people would actually follow, and then you get full coverage from events you didn't even know existed. Of course money has lots to do with it but still |
