Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Top 3 all time sport bloopers

My top 3 are all motor racing related but you can include any sport you like.

1. Sean Emmett, British Superbikes, Thruxton 2004 - Sean leads a two part aggregate race. Coming out of the last corner on the last lap, Sean looks behind for the others before pumping his fist to the crowd. However, he briefly loses control of his bike and lost enough time to reglate himself to 3rd metres from the finish line!

2. David Coulthard, Formula One, Australian Grand Prix 1995 - David is in P1 as he comes into the pits for his pit stop. However he goes too fast in the entrance and ends up crashing into the pitlane wall and ending his race!

3. Jean Alesi, Formula One, Australian Grand Prix 1997 - Jean is so engrossed in the battle for 2nd that he forgets to come in to the pits for fuel!

There can be only one...

Enckelman the Bluenose

And a delighted e14 was there, watching it...staring in ecstatic disbelief...

(Although not on the video.)

ah, that clip will make me laugh forever! there was a good one in the olympics today, here and then under clips. the best ones, cruel to say, are always the ones where someone *nearly* wins and for ever reason doesn't quite make it. though that football clip is ace - especially in a local derby.

A great footy blooper from 2003, Sunderland scored 3 own goals in 8 minutes against Charlton Athletic.

I remember that well because several people around me in the crowd threw their season tickets onto the pitch.

Was that the snowboarder girl from the US who on the last jump of the border cross decided to do a tail grab, landed on her ass and got overtaken in the run down to the line? I could not stop laughing, what an arrogant putz!

Watch out for more shoddy Sunderland defending next season then

From a motorsport perspective, one of the 'best' bloopers was DC's crash into the Adelaide pit entrance. And another I found hilarious, although I doubt it was at the time, was Taki Inoue's incident with a recovery vehicle at Hungary 1995. He didn't bother to look where he was walking, walked right into its path and was knocked onto the bonnet and then to the ground. Fortunately the recovery vehicle wasn't travelling at great speed. Probably shouldn;t have laughed when I saw it for the first time, but...

oh where you tell this ,

Swede Björn Wirdheim once lead at Monaco in F3000 by about 30secs when he came to finish line . in front of finish line he slowed that much down to party himself that the 2nd placed by then overtook him rofl

**** of the year award although i cant remember the year. it aint oo long ago though lol

sorry for the word but filter didnt allowed it lol

The enckelman one was just topped in germans 1st league last weekend by Matthias Hain the goalie of Arminia Bielefeld. He tried to save a long ball but threw it back from corner line......into the feet of that frontier who scored then rofl

Must have been 2003 or something. It was great, but I'm fairly sure he didn't have a 30 second lead. Wasn't it Nicolas Kiesa that ended up winning, and then got a seat at Minardi later in the year?

just saw another yesterday eve LOL.
Hamburgs Rafael van der Vaart tried to bring a long ball to the frontiers into the Stuttgart defense. At this point Hamburgs goalie moved up too so van der Vaart was the last Hamburger at about the middle line.
Now the ball returned to van der Vaart. He looked up to his own empty goalbox and shot the ball to there ! one of Stuttgarts frontiers came and scored LOL i was rofling for about 10mins after seeing that. maybe it gets shown in eurosports Watts soon

Best was for me is a Murrayism

Right Mansell is catching Senna and I'm going to stop the startwatch, followed by much hilarity from James and Murray in the commentary box, genius pure genius!!

You could go on all day about Murrayisms.

'He can see him in his earphones'

'Coulthard leads and is yet to stop. Hakkinen leads and is yet to stop.'

'One light. Two lights. Thre lights. Four lights. Five laps.'

Just a few I found funny.
