TrackScotland should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
KMSC 2012

Knockhill Motorsports Club ran their first car race of the year last weekend...

Classes for classics, legends, saloons and modified saloons (with sprinkling of Radicals)

I raced in the Modified Saloons race, in Class B (treaded road legal rubber and no aero)

Race 1

Interesting start taking the the grass to avoid the 911 cup car but finished last I pitted for repairs after monstering the raised kerbs a bit to much and wrecking the front bumper. I wn as leading the class when smoke and bits of bumper started to fly all over with the bumper tucking under the front and rubbing the tyres. Engine temps started climibling and tyres must have been mega hot as the handling was pretty crap!

Race 2

Started last and got up to about 5th by the end of the second lap. By this point the other cars slicks were getting up to temp and their greater power made easy work of my Impreza Finished 1st in Class.

Pics and Vids

Race 1 - Got a good start and I maintain I possibly had 2 wheels on :S hehhe - http://youtu.be/znVMwNWPCkI

Race 2 - http://youtu.be/YpWumOoiXZE

Race one from a G60 Corrado - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2COJdmLIts maybe I didnt have 2 on

Race 1 from an Evo X - goot footage of Fee and myself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbyhfUZG3is&hd=1

Race 2 from the Exo - Fee had turbo gaskets blow so she says she had no power! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djawIBTX0m8&hd=1 GT3RS gettign it a bit wrong avoiding the Radical on the start.

doh

Race 1 I finished 3rd in class (last LOL), Fee won her class.
Race 2 I won my class and Fee finished 2nd in hers

Its only my 3rd and 4th race (still got my novice X) so any comments or tips welcome. I know i was perhaps taking too much kerb at times, and was a bit less than smooth. In both races I eased of after the initial laps as I'd made a big enough gap to the other class B cars.
