So what was its lap time. And does anyone actually think Ford/FPV would own up to it being a factory car if it was a test mule?

That's pretty cool. I know some guys who have caught it on the Webcam a few times. Apparently the FPV GT was sold over in Europe, I'm not 100% sure.

I like the comment left by one reader "Surprised it made it round. Unless it was just on litter picking duty reading the track for the serious metal to come!"
It looks so out of place on a track in Europe where you'd expect actual well-designed cars, or a sports car like the Alzen Porsches Gives a new meaning to the Nürburgring Taxi. |

maybe Dave Richards is trialing some of the blokes for his F1 seats as he can't let the cat out of the bag that he will be McLaren's B team, unusual in a tin top though.

pic was taken last year, just after the ve commodore supercar had been testing there
seriously though how funny is the pic where you can see both people in the car. the driver has the helmet on and the passenger doesnt. as for the car in the 24hr this year? is it the same one they took over last year? from memory it was a vt commodore supercar painted in go socceroos colours. and i think it had dramas. would be nice to see it go well. |

"Sending an Australian vehicle to the ‘ring can be a costly exercise, so it’s either one devoted owner or a tuning firm after some comparative credentials to brag about."
Not really, you'd be suprised what what manufacturers - and their rivals - get up to... for instance, earlier this year, it was suggested that a high profile german manufacturer was spotted thrashing two new models of a rival german manufacturers' in, of all things...NT.... why the rivals and not theirs? |

[quote=Driver TBA]Well the driver of the official 'Nurburgring Taxi' almost cracked 10 minutes in a Transit van, so the Falcon would have to be half a chance.
There are e few Ring Taxi,s,And the driver of the Transit was a lap record holder at the age of 16.She has also just completed her 15,000th lap, |

Nice. Having spent two weeks and over 2,000km in an XR6 (as a renter - how cool's that!) I reckon that would be rather a lot of fun. Does look a tad on the low side of things, but if it's sorted out it could be a weapon. Personally I'd have gone for the Typhoon, but each to their own...
