The official press release states that Flaherty and Scott "were unable to reach an agreement to continue the BRX season", so Mark is looking for "an alternative seat in which to complete the year":

Very odd. Perhaps Andy Scott will run at Mettet?

Makes sense as James Grint listed in the 208 in pembrey. Not sure about Flaherty. Heard him say "I've had enough, you sort it" after he mangled the car at Lydden. Then he got in his jeep and left. Not a team player

Similar sentiment to JV last year. Wonder where the issue really is?

I did hear that Andy is so involved that it becomes stifling, but if you're investing over a million pound you would want a lot of involvement.

Is this the new byproduct of being in a team? If there is someone faster or more funded or if there is disagreement you could be out and if you can't find another team you have to fund and find your own car/team...

What is the lowdown of that team exactly? Does Marc Laboulle still have anything to do with it?

Can't imagine him having much time for all this nonsense, he seems a very rounded, decent chap.

I do not know Mr Scott, but he seems to be very keen to be at the highest levels of rallycross, drove all over the place in some cars, had liasions with many poeple and they never seem to last long.

He seems a nice chap, but surely Mark could not have been driving for nothing, he must ahve been paying? Maybe the dough did not appear when it should, who knows.

JV was totally different, that was a bit of big fish in small pond, but you have to say the car did let him down a few times too. But he is not known for being politically corrent is he our Jacques!

Involved in a traffic incident which resulted in a prison sentance, I think that there was a crash and someone died.

What has happened to "Belgium" Touring Cars. Is it still a class in their national championship?

First impressions: circuit: ok, but impossible to see the whole track and a bit to much Tarmac. Personally I think the track is to hard on the suspension, not sure if it is the jump or anything else...

Oh dear.

Puncture track, loads of dust. ""Voice of rallycross" speaking like a east end gangster.

Track is clearly cutting tyres and bumps on the transition phases, and what a shocker when you just lay gravle over hardcore.

Let's all clap as the man with the most endurance gets through to the finals rather than the quickest man.

All hail temporary tracks, rubbish tyres and the Ion spotters spotters tower brought to you in association with Ion, did I mention Ion?

Is this the sport I used to love!

I thought the racing looked good. A strong field as well and amazing drive by Petter to take two jokers and still come second given who was in the semi with him.

Please for Andy Scott and Albatec as well. Hopefully David can make it go as quick next week.

Bad luck for Kristofferson but cars break; punctures happen. Has always happened in rallycross not just since IMG came on board.

Roll-on Lydden.

Great event. I don't know where you were standing but we could see pretty much all of the track. Didn't have to go in the stands as initially feared and wouldn't say that I felt any further away from the action than at Duivelsberg or Loheac. But that's because I was wearing sunglasses rather than rose tinted ones.

There was a part of the track on the back section that seemed to be causing all the issues. Quite a few on Saturday too. Def needs to be looked at but it did appear to be a distance off line. There's a similar punishing kerb at Lydden and that's the home of rallycross. Again, I'd taken the rose tinted glasses off when I was spectating this particular bit of action.

I don't know (or care) how it looked on tv but the dirt sections actually looked really good. Particularly the last corner/joker section which invited a lot of drifts! Especially petter and Kristofferson.

Biggest gripe on the circuit is the first corner. Too much contact, especially on Saturday.

Will Def be back next year.

Today we went near the joker section, the view is much better and you can see the start, although it is far far away. The start is in the opposite direction and on the other end of the circuit. True, Valkenswaard en Höljes have the same issue.

For those wanting to go next time: spare yourself the grandstand as this is the lower grandstand (not the Center one) and you can't see the start or the straight, ok it does have a decent corner from near standstill to a long straight.

Biggest criticism today was the the watered the gravel parts around the joker section way to wet causing the first couple of heats for the Super 1600 driver to drive into the Armco, resulting in broken suspensions...
