Vaughan Edwards
I am sad to have to add Vaughan Edwards, Donington Parks Circuit Operations Manager to this list.
Vaughan passed away last Thursday after a long illness. If you have taken part in a track day at Donington Park in the last 10 years on a bike or in a car chances are that Vaughan was in race control looking after your safety. The funeral service will be held on Friday 24 October at 10.30am St, Mary's Church, Greasley, Nottinghamshire. The family have requested no floral tributes, instead donations may be made in Vaughan's memory to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. |

RIP matey.
I'm still ****ed that we didn't get to view that footage of my car falling down the Craner hill together. I know i was in for a right pasting when we did, but it would worth it!! Thank you for making me feel welcome at Donington. It really was an absolute privelidge to know you and share stories of aircraft and noisy cars. Your impression of " For my new customers only! " man made me howl!! As did your playing of train noises in the paddock! You were one of the very best. My memories of you are fond indeed. Rest easy. |
