On social media, both cars had AM stickers on, so not sure if that’s correct or temporary

I know others probably don't share the view, but I don't like the way GT4 is headed... It's showing the same kinda GT3 trend where the cars are getting more and more serious, non-exotics are getting dumped because supercars are cooler for sponsorship/selling rides, and all the small constructors are getting pushed out because they can't match the name value/development/data of the big manufacturers.

The racing is still good because the cars are allowed to have fairly different characteristics, but I can't help but wonder how long it is until that goes away too.

I get your point, but I think the Camaro fits fine in the class, GM just didnt develop it much, so wasnt the finest of cars. They dont seem bothered by it otherwise they would be funding cars in IMSA and PWC

I wouldn't give up on seeing Camaros in GT4 America just yet. Gar Robinson and Shane Lewis have both posted about testing the Ranch Resort cars for 2019.

Has the series swapped to all TCR or is there a locally homologated TC allowance?

There's three touring car classes...TCR and TCA (similar to IMSA's ST) race together, then there's TC, which is for stuff like the BMW M240iR...The TCA grid will be huge this year, should be a lot of fun.

Gotta hand it to Ratel, he's really managed to breath some new life into the GT3 series. Personally, I wouldn't have been surprised to see them carry on with only GT4.

I just noticed that one month ago, CRP Racing put their Mercedes AMG GT3 up for sale. Hopefully Nick Short can find a funded driver to keep the car running for another year.

Daniel Mancinelli and TR3 Racing were testing their Ferrari 488 GT3 at COTA yesterday, so looking like they will return for PWC in 2 weeks time!

The R Ferri motorsport Ferrari is on the poster for COTA, so kind of assuming thats a go too....

That would put the GT3 field at 18 cars right?

Good variety too, 5 or so Porsches, potentially 6 Ferrari's, 4 Mercedes, 2 Bentleys, and an Acura.
