He's 1m93! Met him today at the Spa testdays. Friendly guy and quite impressive. Can't say they same of Pizzonia and Pantano (their size)almost tripped over them .
It was a fun day at Spa. Thank you Mario haberfeld for ending the two days with a big crash. One way to make the news.

Interested to know how anyone else who's met F3000 drivers has found them - friendly or too busy to make time for you? Who's the nicest, who's not??

If you almost tripped over Pizzonia, you certainly wouldn't have found Mauricio!!

i saw quite a few at silverstone, but didn't have the guts to go up and say hello.

saw ricardo sperafico out at maggotts, but he was with his girlfriend (grr). not one person noticed who he was, or anything. i saw him again later in the paddock, but he was well grumpy about the race, so it was best not to bother him i figured.

friend of mine met antonio (apparently he was really nice), and a few others.

justin is reaaaally huge! you got that one right! and antonio is ickle, i saw him in town a few years back, and bless, he was quite short.

(ps anyone know when the next f3000 test is at silverstone?)

Antonio is a star.

I saw him leaving F1 testing last season one night at Silverstone, and no-one else had recognised him. So I moved over quickly to the car and he stopped and signed loads of things. He then got out the car for pictures etc... Top bloke - and he always made time to stop from then on for us.



And yes he is a midget.

It must be the South American drivers who are the most friendly - I remember Enrique Bernoldi when he was doing F3 and he was really friendly.

As for the next F3000 test at Silverstone, there isn't another official one this year, but there may be unofficial tests.
