Robson Civil Projects Townsville Supersprint - Races 22, 23 & 24

The second weekend in Townsville.

Will sun continue to shine on Supercars or will the mighty Excels show once again that great racing doesn't require mega budgets?

Cann't take it anymore watching Scotty winning again and again and again....
I'm not a Holden or Ford guy, I just would love to see different winners

Not sure what 888 was thinking sending Van Gisbergen out with leaking power steering, as in did they expect to get away with it?

There is only one car at DJRTP capable of winning races. Whether that is off the back of team choice in strategy or of equipment, or of driver, or of the impact of always being the second pit strategy (perhaps because of driver position on track also)

The two 888-RBHRT cars can and do fight with one another, and push one another to different heights of performance.

What Mr Whincup shared around this is not obviously untrue from external observation of results. Indeed Mr Hamilton made the same comments across the weekend about the Aston Martin Red Bull Honda F1 team, who have one serious driver in 4 cars in the squad.. and the pushing along of the team is impacted because of it.

Mind games? Maybe. Nothing other people are not thinking.

Scotty firing up in the press. Short memory Bathurst 2019? or the many times FC has played tail gunner for Scott over the past few years. Remember the team order on the radio "FC don't let Jamie past at all costs" The much faster JW ends up in the tyre wall. Protecting Scotts championship. Scotts body language is never good when he's not won.
last week on the podium with Whincup, Jamie looking like he wanted to converse with Scott, but Scott was having none of it.

He just looks precious and entitled. Maybe that is what David Reynolds was referring to when he stated that Scott had changed? I know everyone loves a winner, but when they can't lose with any grace it's a turn off.

Seems like the right person heard you - pretty "full on" weekend in terms of variety.

Be a great shame if Scotty has changed the way you describe - the positive attitude and pure happiness we saw so much of with him was appealing. Guess it's bound to happen to an extent with success - when you expect it, there's less excitement when it arrives.

I used to like Scotty when he was at Volvo. Nowadays he's just another entitled whiney little b*tch. If the shoe was on the other foot & Fabs did that to an opponent, will he hang back & not pass? highly doubt it.

Totally agree. If Scott had a team mate capable of running in the top 4, things might be different in Scott's outlook.
