BTW...Tagliani and Power will not be in this weekend's field, and the second Dreyer & Reinbold car is listed as TBA...

Some speculations is that Milka Duno could be in that car, but who knows?

Sarah Fisher also makes her first appearance this season.

Thought you all would want to know....

Yes...Milka Duno was announced today as the driver of the TBA entered by Dreyer & Reinbold Racing for Kansas, and she will run a limited schedule...

The press release had a line in it that made me laugh...Milka's "oval experience" will be a big asset to help Conway, since he hasn't raced on an oval before...

That's kinda like the blind leading the blind, isn't it?

Scoring of the Quals won't come until tomorrow morning in the Eastern Time Zone USA...

I have a dinner reservation (my wife is rushing me out the door) and Dario and Helio may get their runs disallowed by going below the white line during their runs...

Can't set the field and score it if you don't have the proper official lineup....

BTW... Rahal was fast lap and obviously fast 4-lap avg. as the pole sitter so those first four are set....the closest of the speeds will probably determine points there...

I haven't scanned the lists, but I'd be stunned if Ryan Hunter-Reay was picked as the slow driver.

Stay tuned.

Before I give you the results, if you are fainthearted, please lok away...this was ugly...

No one had Rahal on the Pole

Alwaysfirst was closest to the 4 lap avg.: Actual-211.311 AF-210.463

No one had Rahal for the Fast single lap

Alwaysfirst also was closest on this speed here: Actual-211.442 AF-211.001

In the Top Six, drewdawg, bruce, OpenWheel and drdisque had 2 pts each...all others had one

No one had Ryan Hunter-reay as the slow qualifier...I would have counted Viso, Dario and helio as well since their times were disallowed, and I would have awarded one point for them, since their actual speeds were much quicker than RHR.

Flyin Ryan was closest to the slow speed: Actual-205.673 FR-206.500

in the Just Miss, Flyin Ryan, Alwaysfirst, Peno, NAc and boom boom all got 1 pt. each for picking a driver that actually made the Top Six for this selection.

Totals after Quals:

1. Alwaysfirst - 6 pts.
2. Flyin Ryan - 4 pts.
3. drewdawg - 2 pts.
(tie) bruce - 2 pts.
(tie) Peno - 2 pts.
(tie) OpenWheel - 2 pts.
(tie) drdisque - 2 pts.
(tie) NAC - 2 pts.
(tie) boom boom - 2 pts.

I think things will sort themselves out in the race for all of you, and the penalties on Dario and Helio hurt a lot of you in your Top Six picks...some even picked those two in the spots where their times actually would have fallen on the grid.

Good Luck today...I hope we don't get rained out...there are possible thunderstorms in Kansas City today...they barely got qualifying in yesterday.

No one had Meira as 1st out, nor Helio as the "Mover" (22nd-2nd)

YAY!!! About time too! I hadn't won one for ages & I think thats the first time I've ever been leading the contest as well! Now for an Indy that falls exactly how I predict it!

We've got some competitive standings....the Top Five are within 9 pts. of each other, with some other good contests within the rest of the pack.

The Indy contests will give you a good opportunity to move up and score big points, because you can actually see practice times, who is "hot" and who is "not," and other things that will help you prior to making your picks.
