Ducati Corse WSBK Team - 2003

Next year GSE Racing will not become the factory team, while they will get more support from Ducati, the Ducati factory will set-up a brand new in-house team to run the team. Neil Hodgson is one of the two confirmed riders for the Corse team, meaning that GSE will need a new rider. If Bayliss decides to stay with WSBK (as is rumoured) then eithre Bostron, Xaus or Toseland are out.

I seriously doubt Bayliss will stay. Officially (from what I've read) Bayliss is 99.9% chance of starting on the Ducati MotoGP for next year.

Hodgson with Ruben Xaus sounds like a good pairing. Bostrom would most likely stay on the machine he has, or could even be the roughest of outsiders for the MotoGP ride?!?!?

I thought the same thing about Bayliss, but read on amasuperbike.com that Bayliss was having second thoughts. Can't really blame him, at his age what would be better, riding a more than likely uncompetitive bike next year in MotoGP, or racing the best bike in WSBK.

On Bostrom, either he or Xaus (or both) will get the boot, as they are only going to have 2 factory bikes next year, not 3 like this year.

If they are going to keep one of them I think they'd keep Bostrom. I think Xaus is fantastic to watch and he can only get better but he's not consistent enough at the moment.
