Another SC for a stopped Lambo...
Edit - same place for the Aston. Missed the turn. Bang into the fence. Game over. |

I like that Lambo livery.
That McLaren pit stop could be genius. A lot of cars are going to owe us early stops for drive time regulations. Bentley have changed, so are looking good. Audis all changed too. |

I hadn't realized the NSX had lost four laps .... even in a 12-hour race that's a lot

Just FYI, for those trying to use the TV graphics - the manufacturer logos are incorrect. Most of the cars have the wrong badge. Ignore them. Use - https://timing.71wytham.org.uk/s/bathurst

He does the AusGT endurance events with the team.
Looks like the back end just let go. Very lucky not to wipe his team mate out. |

This is an amazing venue and the racing and spectacle is awesome.
However, I am feeling a little uncomfortable at the brutality and regularity of these crashes. I think the cars need to be slowed down here. Current GT3s are too fast for this track. I hope no-one has to be badly injured to ram that point home. |

That knocked the wind out of him. Tough to hear him gasping for air on the replay.

I think Garth lifted because Dries was slowing down.

I agree, the cars are super scary here. You can't have small accidents anymore. |

Interesting insight from a driver interview (missed who it was, sorry). Says the GT3 cars have lots of downforce but poor lateral stability so when they slide, they are very hard to catch (unlike Supercars, with less downforce but more willingness to drift). And on a hot, dusty track it's very easy to slide.
