Mostert has lead the setup direction in that team for some time now. Particularly after several team drivers stated that Mr Winterbottom's setups were undrivable.

This could be a good thing for him. If Mr Bright is allegedly on board, they could be a darkhorse come enduro time.

I actually think Adam has lead the direction. I've heard Chaz say on many times "Adam has come up with something new". And the fact they have moved away from Frosty's setup is probably one of the reasons his going & always coincides with the current lack of pace at Tickford!! I think Frosty has suffered from having a junior engineer in the last few years...

I hope T18 get Phil Keen & I really hope Bright doesn't end up as co-driver for T18. His 2 slow (& not doing other racing) & co-drivers need to be quick theses days.

Well he never use to crash into the scenery when driving for Aston Martin, so maybe the car is crap and is not up to the standard it should be and he is pushing to hard.
When ever it was wet he moved up the time sheets. When it got dry back down to the bottom. This suggests he was quicker than the car and the wet hid the problems with the car.

Only Kelly and Simona De Silvestro are currently confirmed as drivers of Altimas in 2019, when the team reverts to the Kelly Racing banner.
Dunlop Super2 Series drivers and 2018 Nissan co-drivers, Garry Jacobson and Alex Rullo have been linked with full-time seats at the team.

i hope heimgartner picks up a drive. he's been decent given he drives a nissan and it would be harsh for him to lose his seat to someone i believe isn't as good like alex rullo

Or more simply Stanaway was not driving with the correct driving style to drive a V8 Supercar and was too stubborn to adjust his technique to match the very effective technique of Mr. Mostert?
