At least Rossi didn't try to throw it away forcing the pass late.
And seems like Power mellowed at the care center with a rational reasonable response there.

Nope. Blamed the guys in front and the radio traffic. But did say it was on "them" and would've given way had he known...

I was surprised the spotter can't kill other chatter to give on track info, especially at a track like Texas. But was a decent response from a guy who I thought was going to rip into that inexperienced kid screwing up his day.

Blocking? More like De Melo being a little over ambitious and driving round the field on the high side.

What do you mean? Coca Cola 600 is 600 miles, this one was 600K.

I was curious as to what the penalty was for and couldn't think of anything but the blocking that was being cracked down on, until Robin Miller mentioned in the post race interview. De Melo had a clean run on Power, overzealous or not, and Power didn't see him. I still think it's a racing incident but Power is the one with the penalty.

Was fined for avoidable contact. Seems like they couldn't get him the message in the car there was a car outside and he ran up like the lane was open. Seems like he feels it was NOT Zach's fault and a racing deal. But directly absolved the guy outside of any blame. I was completely surprised by his calm, that happens response and he didn't even flinch when Robin told him about the penalty handed down.

That is a bit curious on the radio traffic and am genuinely surprised and refreshed by Will's comments; they tend to go the "other way".

It's 600 somethings but it's 248 laps at 1.44 miles and 2.32km so that's 357 miles and 575k so something is missing I think? The track limits for Indy shortens the given 1.5 miles for Nascar but that's still not 600k either so Texans may not know math.

I didn't see the complete interview with Power, as I lost the feed but if he's ok with the incident, then so be it.

Doesn't matter. You need to tell her every two or three days about these things but when she tells you once about something her family is doing that you need to be there for in passing while you're driving down the road or cutting the grass, you have to remember or hell hath no fury...
You're sleeping on the couch with a bottle of bourbon tonight, right?

It's 248 laps, with a distance of 372 Miles or 598.676 Kms; that's near enough 600.
