Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Which do you rate higher - Suzuka 1994 or Nurburgring 1995

These are both my all time favourite races, and I like them both equally. But which did you like better - Suzuka 1994 or Nurburgring 1995? Or did you like them both equally? I did.

I don't want a load of Damon Hill or Michael Schumacher bias in this thread BTW. I just want to know which race excited you more.

Wasn't it Suzuka 1995 that Damon sort of dominated?

Definately 94 my friend, I remember it like yesturday. Essentially two races done on aggregate with Damon showing Mickey how to drive in the wet - superb .

Nurburgring 1995 was a thriler, and possibly Alesi's greatest ever drive. Suzuka 1994 was pretty good from what I can remember, but had less action throughout. And of course the Nurburgrign had Deletraz's wacky moment.

Yeah, 1994 was when he beat Michael Schumacher in the wet. 1995 was when Schumacher lead from lights to flag in the wet and Damon crashed out while traling him.

Wow, from winner in the wet in 1994 to crashing out in the wet in 1995. Talk about hero to zero!

and he ran number zero in 1994. The irony

Suzuka 1994, because Damon grabbed that win and set-up a potentially great end to the season.

Nurburgring was a good race, but the result wasn't so against the form book. And besides, for my sins, I'm a Damon fan.

I'm sure I have the same problem as many here off being able to retain loads of useless information (like obscure happenings in grand prix that happened years ago) but when it comes to useful stuff (like exam material) I can't remember a thing.

its gotta be Nurburgring 1995.

That pass by Mick on the outside at the Veedol, with contact, was one of the great passes of all time. Ok Alesi was flagging, but that was one of the last times that the world actually held its breath for an F1 race.

I preferred Suzuka 1994. That was a straight fight. There was too much mucking round with variable weather and different tyres and so on with Nurburgring 1995 in my opinion to make it a better race.
