Logic would dictate a base in Western Sydney to minimise the travel expenditure. Therefore, Oran Park & Eastern Creek would be the logical test tracks because Mt Panorama is a public road and therefore not available for testing.

However, I would personally prefer to be based in Qld, with QR and Lakeside as my test tracks. With many top teams now based on the Gold Coast and AVESCO also based there, what does the future hold for QR? Hmmmmmm......

With the current parity in V8s, marque choice is purely a matter of personal preference or who gives you the better deal. My preference would be a HRT Commodore of course.

I'd run two cars, with Lowndes and Wakefield driving in the sprint rounds and teaming up for the endurance races. I would have to insist on driving the second car in the endurance races and sharing it with some of the top guys in Historic Touring Cars or Improved Production cars.

Colour scheme, well that's easy, red cars go faster.

True u got a point Dave.

However i'm sure the Bathurst council would gladly close the roads off so that a V8 team could do testing as long as fans were allowed to watch.

Which in my case would be no problem cause i'd insist on having fans there.

David- remember money is no object...so there is no problem with the track being put in the pack of a Russian cargo plane and moved to Queensland....actually, they wouldn't have to water proof the track to Tony Cochrane standards if they move it to sunny Queensland
