I'm definitely with you on that one!

Red Bull do seem to be running their car in a configuration that makes you wonder how they've managed to create so much downforce at the rear of the car. Not sure if suspension travel has much to do with it, most of which comes from the tyres sidewall characteristics. Plus, the top teams will be running some sort of linked hydraulic suspension system (FRIC http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/tag/fric-suspension/) that is within the current regulations.

A rising surface like the RB runs would result in reducing air pressure under the car as you get further back, IIF you can prevent air getting in at the side, which you might be able to do with some vortex generating aero at the front and down the side.

Reducing pressure at the back = increased downforce.

(That's my guess anyway)
