arnage74 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Great Engine Sounds Recordings

Can anybody point to some really good websites featuring audio recordings of sports cars in GT Racing? I started to collect recordings of different cars.

Thanks!

1) http://www.soundsofnascar.com/

2) http://audio.mpix.org.uk/lemans2007/2007_lem_fx.mp3

That's from Radio Le Mans (original link, not rehosted so no copyright infringement). ~17 MB, 192kbps stereo MP3, 13 mins in total. Most of the time there is only crowd noise but the whole pack of cars go past the recording point two times. First time (sounds like actual race start) @ 6:50.

Since it has excellent sound quality, you can really max the volume.

Thanks deggis, the Le Mans 2007 I also knew about, great stuff.
In the meanwhile I discovered a site which features REALLY excellent sound quality... there is quite a lot, may favorite is currently the recording of two Corvette C6.Rs and then an Audi R8 passing by at Terte Rouge, check it out yourself: http://baszero.ch/racing/2005/06/aud...-le-mans-2005/

If you click on "Audio" to the left, you'll get more events covered with audio recordings...

Hi deggis, I wanted to drop a nice link here that features high quality sounds but this forum is moderated... so I'll send you the link I found in the meanwhile via private message ;-)
