Who is going to the BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy at Silverstone on the weekend of November 6-7th ?

Great action - a real end-of-season feel.

Early days yet, as so many races still to go before November. But, I am pretty chuffed to say the least!

JEB, can you confirm that this is a two day meeting? There seems to be some discussion about whether it's one day or two.

Hi James I here that Mark Webber is at Whittlebury Hall on the 6th how about getting him along or in a car ???

As David Leslie is at Brands on the Saturday I hear he will start from the back of the grid on Sunday should be worth watching.

So if you get 92 entries it must be something like
4 heats of 23
with the fastest 14 or so from each going straight to the semi and the next 8/9 going into the last chance race and the top 12 or whatever from that race also going to the semis.
Two semis of 34 each with the top half of each going to the A final and the rest to the B final with, presumably, the next finishers from the last chance as reserves.
Will anybody go from the B to A (the winner) or is that about it?
However it's organised, some people are going to go out earlier (unhappily for them) and it should be mega!

I think the B Final is purely a consolation race. Everyone still gets two races, which I think is what is promised.

James will be confirming details of how goes through from what to where and these will appear on the website.

Here is the view from that wise old sage Diz. Apologies if I'm treading on James's toes.

Assuming 4 heats of 21 [current entry is 85 I believe]
The top however many go into the Semis [their 2nd race] and the others have a Last Chance race [their 2nd race]
The top however many Last chancers then fill out the Semi grids to 34 cars each [their 3rd race]
With me so far?
The top 17 in the semis then have a final [their 3rd, or 4th race] and the non qualifiers have a consolation race [their 3rd race]
So it looks like all should get 3 races and a few 4 races for their buck.

Also the crowd and marshals get NINE FF1600 races. Woo Hoo
