Is it really Colin McRae in that Citroen?
Autosport has pictures allegedly of Colin McCrash driving the new Citroen, but I ask you, how could that possibly be him because there are 4 wheels on that car and it's right side up.

Is there a big footprint anywhere on the car? Colin always likes to put his boot into a body panel as part of the breaking-in process. Or breaking down...

Yes, he was in the Xsara because Colin was testing the Xsara's gravel capability for next year's WRC season.

I'd seen the story and was going to post it yesterday but as you say Liz, the photo is inconclusive & could be any shot of the Xsara.
Also it's interesting that McRae was gagged from talking to the press after his first run |

Was he? Do you think he said anything really rude about the car?
I still think they ought to give it to Sainz. He doesn't wreck nearly as often and he's much nicer. And he's got a co-driver. |

There's some thumbnail size shots of Colin in the Citroen at

That Citroen's certainly every bit as good as the Focus... If Colin can't win a championship with it, it's his own fault.

No, it'll be his co-driver's fault.
