p14geu should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Apologies to guffy, I accidentally put in James Gibson instead of Lawrence, I was the one having a blonde moment, not concentrating on what I was writing.

answer to the question, Ben Power finished 2nd in his final, I was very impressed with him, I laughed like a few others at the sight of a Ford Ka, but by the end of the day had nothing but respect for him, very quick and appears to be a very good driver.

Can anyone tell me who was driving the white & green stripped Mini in the Juniors. It's my old Minicross car.

The youngster in the White and Green Mini was Stefan Schmieder.

The Minis were the car to have in the Juniors, although that Micra ran them close enough in the final. Interesting that the Micra seemed way better on the loose but got blown away on the main straight by the minis every lap. Be interesting to see what else comes out in this class. How about an Uno (be loads of caged ones lying around) or even a Seicento!!!

Had the "young man" driving the micra been racing before? as he looked very good - racing line, late braking at the end of start /finnish straight ect. George jnr and Mathew have done one season in rallycross already, so he wasn't far behind

I was quiet impressed by the micra myself, its a much heavyer car than the mini but it did keep up with the mini's on the straight. Perhaps a little later on the brakes out of dunlop could cure that. I think the weight helps it on the loose, the mini's just bounce everywhere and loose traction.

Yeah, the Micra did look a bit strange next to the Mini's as did the 106, but if more of those kind of size cars came into it, as Motormouth said, cars like Uno's and Seicento's you might find a whole different competition then in the Juniors. The lad in the Micra (Robert Critchley) did look very good though, he just needs that extra little bit in the engine to carry him through into the straights so he could then get in front of the Mini's.

At the end of the day, there are many possible cars to be used in the Junior Championship, I just think with the age old background of the Mini and the general toughness of them means they are perfect for it, but why not maybe some 205s, can you still get hold of any of them in under 1 litre???
