Imagine how motivated Rice will be to perform after missing Indy. With Meira and Patricks showing, he might have had a good shot to win the race.

I'd kinda like to see Brack have another go , but I must say Im glad Rice is back it was a shame he had to miss Indy but its great that he is fit and able to come back so quick

Yea, he'll be back about a montha fter the crash, so if anything he's lucky to have onyl missed one race, even if it was Indy. He'll be fired up and is certainly a contender for the win.

I think he'll be driving the wheels off his car at Texas, trying to get back in the championship hunt, and back into fans minds again. He has had an off year so far, so it should be interesting. As far as Brack goes, yes, I'd like to see him get another shot, but I'm just not sure I'm ready to see him at Texas again. Even though I know he's OK now, watching that accident still makes me cringe... |

It would have been interesting to hear Brack's thoughts on returning to Texas, whether he wanted a chance to exorcise some demons or not.
I am pleased Buddy will be back, I just hope he is not too "fired up" as Texas is not the kind of track that lends itself well to over-aggressive driving. I would also certainly agree that all three R-L cars must be in with a shout... although it might be best, should Danica win, that she refrain from "mounting" her charge Tony Kanaan-style... |
