I see they upgraded the faclities at the QLD Raceway.... It now has a COVERED Stand.... and the the XXXX Retreat has been moved somwhere.....

No mention of the chaos it causes to get out of there at the end of the day.....

A major MINI Challenge accident has brought a halt to proceedings at Queensland Raceway in Ipswich today.

Kain Magro’s MINI John Cooper Works Challenge car rolled into the crowd after a clash with Sarah Harley entering the final corner.

Magro’s car rolled several times before launching over the spectator fence and into a crowded area.

The incident happened just after midday on the ninth lap of the first race of the weekend.

Ambulances and medical teams are in attendance. Racing has been suspended.

nah just passing on info i am picking up from around the place.

read on Central that it slid on it's roof at turn 6 through the gravel trap and hit the tyres rolled up into the air and over the safety fence.

EDIT: i'm abit late.

As a CMO of a few V8 events, this is the sort of event that you never want to have to deal with. The medical response team up there is a good crew, so they're getting the best attention possible.

Last I heard it was 3 people trapped, with racing suspended as previously stated.
