Villagra will have Diego Curletto as co-driver. He is the guy that plays that role at Argentinian Rally Championship. It is a shame this opportunity comes for them at a tarmac rally.

Hope Block's car doesn't fail him this time. He's made me interested in rallying again.

Citröen doing very well up to now.

Not a surprise to see the Citroens dominating on tarmac, I'd have expected Sordo to be higher up though.

He has already climbed to second with a very strong afternoon performance. Still one SS to go today.

Predictable win for Seb and another title.

Citroen are still way ahead of Ford on tarmac aren't they?

Why is that though? The French manufacturers always seem to build cars which are extremely quick on tarmac. Are they able to subvert the laws of physics and vehicle dynamics somehow? I've only been following the WRC since the late 90s so I don't know if that has always been the case. Has anyone ever been able to stop the likes of Peugeot or Citroen on sealed surfaces in the past - excluding the odd win for drivers like Markko Martin etc when the surface has been less than bone dry?
