Yup, sounds like the engineers basically told him deal with it, we're not changing it.

What happened to the old Lewis and driving through the problems with a car. It seems like lately he's only OK with the perfect car. It's grating, rather have the Kimi leave me alone attitude more.

Not only that but even with things in a bad way, he's easily doing enough right now. He can just park on the apex then drive away from the Honda, job done. And Max is lifting and coasting too.

It's absolutely do-able if he believes it is.

Exactly that, seems like engineers have lost the old touch. Remember Felipe's engineer always calming him and the you're doing fine, just giving you info. It seems like the MB guys have all the warmth of a porcupine. Wow, Lewis is claiming he can't do what he's been doing all race. And the engineer has perfected the passive aggressive response. They are definitely not drinking buddies.

It does feel like a sportscar endurance race condensed to 90 minutes. Everything is about wear and equipment over outright pace

Lewis does like a good moan, but it's been a while since we've seen him this stressed about things. He's getting inside his own head and is convinced the team have made a mess of this.

He's now beginning to slide the car a bit.

Gasly pitting does mean anyone from the top 4 can now pit and stay in the top 4. I'd be tempted to try it with Bottas.

Especially if he's truly stuck in traffic like last lap and dropped to over 5 seconds behind Verstappen (edit, back to within 5 and fastest lap)

Verstappen has to get by and the hope Lewis really holds up Vettel

I'm actually getting truly nervous about what could happen. Yes, it's not truly outright speed racing but it's a proper race and entertaining

I think it's because they have 3 possible choices. Soft is fast, medium is balanced, hard is low wear. I think that's what it's saying.
