Actually very old news they have probably copied from seeing links on here or other forums.
There is an extensive amount of information about the UB/Kingfisher & Sahara situations available on many reputable news sources. The situation remains that both groups are facing extreemly serious financial and legal difficulties and are very unlikely to survive under the current ownership, if at all. When the parent groups collapse the end of the F1 team will follow. |

BE won't want to see another team fold, particularly a strong midfield runner, so I am sure he will have a major influence on what happens to it, should the need arise.

The financial problems with both Sahara and kingfisher will for certain effect the team even if they start the season once the bills start rolling in they may be unable to keep funding the team, Very little other sponsership on the cars.

And actually, this would remove quite a lot of the intrigue in the Catherham/Marussia fight... |

there was a pretty large time gap but didnt the Arrows team, factory and chassis, ultimately get sold and used by Super Aguri? possibly bought from whomever bought the Arrows team after they closed?

Whilst Super Aguri did use an Arrows design for their first F1 season, this was aquired by a more convolued route in that Paul Stoddart purchased the rights to the car upon Arrows's closure (with Minardi using it in a back-to-back test with their own car at Mugello). Super Aguri then purchased the design upon their F1 entry. |

A somewhat less hysterical, and more analytical view of their prospects than the usual old stuff:

some interesting numbers there and was surprised to read that the airline and drink company paid so little relatively for their branding.
from those numbers though it sounds like losing those sponsors wont affect the team very much which is a good thing but maybe its the gambler in me which wonders about how much they lost (or failed to collect) by not having a sponsor pay the full value instead of measuring it by how little they will lose when those sponsors leave. either way thats a moot point as it was in the past and i must admit the team is showing far more resiliency than i would have thought possible six months ago. |

So, Force India lead their second consecutive race in Melbourne, get both drivers in the points on merit and more interestingly soundly thrash their technical partners, McLaren.
Not bad for a team in trouble eh? |

At the very least, they should have no trouble finding sponsorship.

The Melbourne result does not change the fact that both the UB Group & Sahara have major financial & legal issues that could see both organisations collapse at any time, or have changed ownership that may not support the F1 team.
There is still very little external funding for the team, and companies are choosing not to be associated with FI due to the toxic nature of the problems with UB & Sahara. |
