The debtor ProEarth initially applied for civil rehabilitation law, but it went bankrupt.

@Japanese Samurai

It seems you are out of the topic.

By the way you means VIVAC the main sponsor of Team Tsuchiya?

Sorry. and Yes.
VIVAC Group has a total of 810 million yen accounts receivable against ProEarth.
VIVAC livery might not be seen anymore.

@Japanese Samurai

Hmmm, if Team Tsuchiya lost Vivac main sponsor , they can also find the new main sponsor for Team Tsuchiya. Or even they can partner with Team Bandoh in 2019 season , if UPGARAGE split up with Team Bandoh thus, UPGARAGE will be an independent team which they use NSX GT3 equip with BS tires.

I think these will make sense due to Kenta Yamashita step up to GT500 and Tsuboi might be Team Tsuchiya seat in this season as well . And After that he might step to GT500 including Takamitsu Matsui.

Do you agree this statement, if its wrong, then pls correct me.

I guess the fourth driver will be either Sasaki or Nagai

Following ARN Blancpain GT Series Asia announcement I believe he would 'left' apr driving role as there are two clashes (well may be down to one due to Alonso) between two series

Yes, I guess so. The "Toyota Corolla Mie" team will be focus on Blancpain GT Series Asia. Also, team's result at GT300 last year wasn't impressive so I think the team needs major revamps. Based on existing rumours, only the longtime driver Koki Saga will be retained.

As it's mentioned before that 2018 will be the last year of Toyota RV8K engine, any clues about the next engine & layout for Prius GT300? What I know so far, the Prius GT300 is a kind of grandfathered spec so it's still allowed to race with mid-engine layout, even though the latest regulation stipulates that all cars have to use same engine position with the respective production car.

Corolla Mie will participate in coming Sepang tire test, according to this tweet.

And Autosport reports that TRD-BIZ001 will replace RV8K engine.

Thanks for the info. I notice the #30 Prius doesn't have tyre brand decal (some clue for tyre brand switch?).
If that's the 2018 livery, probably at least Corolla Mie in #30 apr still remain intact as a sponsorship.

@Japanese Samurai

About TRD-BIZ001

The output of the engine is same as GT500 Lexus engine right? Which is Inline 4 turbo engine that generate 600 hp.

In addition this engine is more powerful than RV8K

I think that TRD-BIZ001 is a derivative engine of NRE.
However, it will be mainly used for GT300. (Alternative for RV8K, GTA V8 engine)
NRE is exclusively factory car use engine. So we can't buy it.
However, TRD-BIZ001 is customer use engine. So we can buy it.

So it means that TRD-BIZ001 can purchase by the customer to modified their car right?

D'station Racing announces that Tomonobu Fujii & Sven Müller will return to the team in 2018 (Müller will be full-time).

They've also switched to the number 7.

Hi all, I would like ask to japanese samurai and other SGT specialists if my data about GT500 cars are correct or not:

Min. dry weight: 1020kg (driver excl.)
Fuel Tank: 110L
Tyre size: same as dtm: 300/680-18 - 320/710-18
50/50 mass distribution for nissan and lexus, about 55% on rear for honda
mandatory set of gear ratios (like f1 and gt3)
single bodywork allowed for season
600hp power output.

About engine, I know that actually there is no revlimiter because power are kept under control by fuel flow sensors (can't remeber the exact value, about 90kg/h if am I not wrong). As far I know fuel flow are triggered only after reached a X rpm (7000 or 7500rpm). Can someone tell me the torque release range of these engines? if about 550Nm for most of the rpm range like mazda dpi engine or even >600Nm, and if engines use to rev over 8000-8500rpm?

The only source for engine data are rumors and data from forza7, the latter don't know how much reliable.

Actually the #51 JMS LM Corsa changed number to #96 and now the team is sponsored by Okayama Toyopet dealership, rechristened it to "K-Tunes Racing LM Corsa".
K-Tunes Racing is the racing division of Okayama Toyopet, last year K-Tunes Racing participated in 86/BRZ Race and Inter Proto Series.
