Rob Fowler; a celebration of his life.



It may come as news and sadness to some of you who knew him as a friendly
and caring face in the HSCC paddock but Fowler Motorsport founder Rob Fowler
passed away in his sleep at the June 13th HSCC Snetterton Race meeting weekend. He was fully
supporting his passion in life at the time i.e. Motorsport and in
particular, supporting our Historic Formula Ford Championship after spending
an evening with the team and friends.

It seems wherever Rob went either home or abroad he was met by many friendly faces who knew him from his racing adventures.



The Historic Formula Ford bunch and I'm sure many others at the HSCC pass on our heartfelt sympathies to Rob's wife Sue, daughter Sarah, son
Neil and all the Fowler family plus the many, many people that Rob's warm
character touched in his interesting motor racing life for their loss as a
Husband, Father, imminent Grandfather and good friend.



Rob will be buried at St. Mary's Church, Swinstead, Nr Grantham, Lincs. on
Thursday July 2nd. The service will commence at 11.00am and there will be a
celebration of his life at the Woodhouse Arms, 2 Bourne Road, Corby Glen,
Grantham NG33 4NS after the service. Sue and Neil have extended a warm
invitation to participate in the church service and the celebration
afterwards where there will be an opportunity to donate to the British Heart
Foundation and Cancer Research. Black attire is not requested, lounge suits
and less formal wear is quite acceptable.
