Manx Classic 2011
Just back from competing in The Manx Classic, The Isle of Man was fantastic, great friendly competitors/marshalls/and everyone else in the various pubs/bars we frequented were Motorsport mad!
For £10 insurance you can drive on the Island, 3 hours before, and 3 hours after the events and Out of the Town there are NO SPEEDLIMITS  I will never forget blasting from Ramsey to Douglous across the Mountain, having a little dice with a bike, until traffic got in the way, and stopping for the odd doughnut along the route:'0) Results were Governors Sprint, 2nd in Class, 4th overall. SLOC Hillclimb, 1st in Class, 2nd Overall set new Class Course Record 16seconds faster. Lhergy Frissel Hillclimb, 1st in Class, 2nd Overall, set new Class Course Record 21 seconds faster :'0) Will be going back to try and beat the overall winner, local hotshot Rally Man, Connor Corkhill

Although I haven't been to the IOM for several years I'm glad they still love their motorsport (be it 2 or 4 wheels) just like they always did. |

Congratulations on those results
- I love the Isle of Man, having rallied there a few times, but it can be an unforgiving place if you get it wrong!You obviously did it right!
