Invincible should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just a small question?

In the independents class in 1993 there was the 1992 Roger Dowson Mazda 323F that Patrick Watts drove in 92

I just want to know who drove the 323F in 93?

Any help will be great

Vince

I think it's someone called Ian Candwell.
Or somin' like that.

He turned up for about 7 races in '93.

Hope that helps.

Ian Cantwell.

No idea of any results - I just have an overriding recollection of it diving headlong into the Redgate gravel at Donington.

Cantwell was run by Asquith Motorsport in the 1992 Mazda after a deal to run his Gp N BWM failed. Took 9th at Donington in April, but left the series after the Silverstone GP Support race.

That's interesting that Peggen Anderson drove that year. I recall from an (Sorry people) in-car shot from the back of Steve Soper's car at Brands Hatch that there was a white BMW in the gravel that I had never seen before. So, I'm assuming that's him.
What races did he drive at?

Anderson drove the first two events, Silverstone and Donington. He retired from both -Silverstone 9 laps 'handling' and Donington 7 laps 'tyres'.

He did not race at Brands - are you sure it is not the Pinkney BMW?

It was Pinkney's car. It was white because it had suffered a fire earlier that weekend and the pink paint was burnt off.

Also in 1993 Tiff Needell raced a Nissan Motorsports Europe Primera, run by Janspeed. It was a development car.

I am guessing that was the third works Nissan.

Also add to that list Alex Portman, who drove for Team Dynamics!
