Bmw E36 For Sale
FOR SALE: 1991 BMW E36 325I 24v KUMHO RACER.
CHASSIS: 4 Door saloon shell in red, Fibreglass boot, bonnet and Hamann front bumper. Custom Cages multipoint roll cage in T45 steel fully TIG welded fitment extending through bulkheads to front and rear supension turrets and rear diff carrier. Dry weight of car – 1050Kg. BRAKES: Front:- AP RACING 310mm x 28mm discs, 4 pot AP calipers & EBC Yellowstuff pads. Working ABS system, Goodridge hoses. Rear:- Platinum Discs – grooved & cross drilled, EBC Redstuff pads, ABS & Goodridge. WHEELS / TYRES: Compotive MO – 8x15 ET25. Kumho V700 Ecsta 205x50x15. SUSPENSION: Leda front and rear dampers with 24 position adjustment, rose joints on rear. 2 ¼ and 2 ½ inch spring to suit. TAS Alloy eccentric rose joint top mounts. Powerflex bushes throughout, eccentric on front trailing arms. Fully 4 wheel aligned and corner weighted. INTERIOR: Cobra Suzuka Diolen seat with Cobra alloy mounts. Sabelt 4 point 3” harness with lightweight alloy adjusters. RedTop Battery, Handheld fire extinguisher. Electrical harness reduced to absolute minimum for weight saving & simplicity. ENGINE, GEARBOX & TRANSMISSION: 325I 24v non-vanos - totally standard, KN 57 filter, new radiator & Pacet cooling fan. Standard 325 Getrag gearbox. 3.9:1 ratio rear diff with 50% slip LSD. Overall the car is built to a high and tidy standard and has competed only once in September 2002. This car has all the right bits apart from a powerful engine. The current power / weight ratio means it is around 80 bhp BELOW what’s needed to suit Class B. Obviously, with an M3 engine installed this car would be a very good proposition racing in Class A of the series. TEL 07941 640616 |
