touringcarnut should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The Return of Hoy???

I heard that Will's planning to return to the BTCC, and hopes to get a drive all year next year. Is this completely untrue??? Maybe he's had enough of presenting the chequered flag on Channel Four!!!!!
What other drivers are eyeing a return to the best racing in the world??

Apparantly he's been talking to GA-Janspeed, who have a spare Alfa 156.

Production class! doh!

I think someone of Hoy's calibre and experience should be given a Touring class ride.
The Production class should be for drivers wanting to hone their skills to "graduate" to the Touring level. I don't know what Kaye and Harrison are doing in the production field, both have had works drives in the past in Super Touring, being in the production field seems like second class almost.

Do you mean the DC Cook Team that ran in '99 with Tommy Rustad in a '98 spec Laguna? Or the '99 Laguna works team (Highly unlikely).

I think Will might mean Arena International. He did very well with them (they had a fair bit of cash, too) although i also reckon that GA-Janspeed will graduate to the BTCT next year, so maybe a birth there next to Gavin Pyper? Alhtough i could see Arena returning, i think they'd definately want another crack at the BTCT.

That would be great if they do go up to BTCT next year, lets hope that if any of the production teams move up they do well.

This may be impossible to answer, but where does Arena get their money? If they have that much F1 experience, why race in the BTCC when they should be doing F2000/F3000 which is probably more prestigious???
