Yes, I would think so, as they seem to be the team tasked with initial shakedown testing.

I expect a 2014-2015 onroak-gdrive style effort. Basically a ginetta semi-work team.

I still rate Daniel very highly and the fact that he's a naturally likeable chap doesn't hurt. But if you had to pick one of the two to win the WDC in the next three years, I suspect that most of us would have our wager on Max.

That was my question. Is it an independent effort or some sort of jv where they have loaned chassis?

How the heck did I do that? Proves the point about blokes and multi-tasking!

No they don't. They just need a lmp1 team that puts some effort forth and give it better fuel flow. At 830kg and 800hp it will be a rocketship. The Peugeot 908 did a 3:18 with about the same power but 100kg more weight.

Any chance that Redbull might be the team that bought the two Ginettas?

you're forgetting a little detail: >1200Nm from the V12 turbo diesel and always available.
In 2011 a 600hp 908 and about 1000Nm was 6 seconds slower.

Well it seems rumours of the demise of LMP1 were premature. Great to see Ginetta in, their car looks good and it's a much needed boost for the series.

Given by the fact that BR01 seems to be just a dallara lmp2 with a more low drag nose; the real deal would be an oreca 07 and ligier js p217 packages powered by an lmp1 motor.
Basically a missing link between an ACO lmp2 and a DPi
