RALFANATOR should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
New Super Team

Ok this has been done before but this time I'll put a twist on it
ONE TEL has just given you 14million to build a V8 supercar team for 2002 but the 01 silly season didn't happen all drivers are staying put even Larko got miter10 back so drivers are hard to find plus there is only 2 per built cars for sale 1.SR FTR no.6 XR8 & 2.the no.11 castrol VT.
Avseco has allowed Toyota to run but they must run in KONICA as well
so guys what do you do?
I expect all DREAMDRIVE guys/girls to come in on this.
JUST WORKOUT these things
1.Team name & base location
2.drivers inc endruo
3.any plans on racing (Just V8's or more?) optoinal
4.what make?

this is mine

1.HRE would be the name and would be based out of SYDNEY with a 4 car assult in 02
2.drivers would be Christian Murchison & Rick Kelly (starting in 02)
endrou driver Will power & Peter Hackett (both signed to run in KONICA in 02)
3. to run Murchison for the rest of 01 in KONICA then CM & RK run in Supercars in 02. with WP & PH run full time in KONICA in 02
4.buy ex FTR run in 01 with CM while building 3 more in house

hey it is all in fun

KARMA RACING

Based either in my home town of Albury or the Gold coast.

would have to go for the ex castrol car and purchase a brand new VX as well and run Wayne wakefield and Martin brundle in the shell series.

I would also run to old VT's in the konica series for Nathan pretty and Allan Gurr.

the enduro's I would pair Bundle/wakefield and in the other car would put Nathan Pretty in and team him with Wayne gardner or the super experienced Peter Fitzgerald.

I then would run one of the konica cars in the enduro's as well for Allan Gurr and Matthew Coleman who is an impressive driver.

of course other classes are a bit iffy ..but Formula Holden would be my choice (if it was still around) and would run a 2 car team for Paul Stevensen (Oz F3 driver) and Christian murchison ..and if that series is dead then F3 with jamie whincup (from F Ford) and either of the Will's from f ford ..those guys are nuts

can i get this money up front please ??????

1) PINEAPPLE RACING

Sydney (Based at Oran Park, but also using Wakefield and Eastern Creek).

2) Mark Noske and Murtchison / Wakefield. Enduros - Murtchison / Wakefield and Dumbrell.

3) I'd run a Konica car for Will Power. I'd also run a British F3 team for Will Davidson. I'd also run an f1 team for Mark Webber and James Courtney. Oh, and a CART team for myself and Alex Zanardi. I'm going to take over the world. HA HA HA HA!

4) In V8s in the current situation, I'd say Holden. I'd take the Larrymobile and build one from scratch. Although it would be nice to have the full factory and monetary weight of Toyota behind us.

I don't like OneTel, so my funding comes from Telstra

1. Russell Motorsport (testing at Lakeside, and Queensland Raceway)
2. Paul Stokell, Wayne Wakefield (Enduro's: Cleland, Power)
3. Konica car - Peter Hackett, Melinda Price (race in enduro's)
4. Ford AU II

Team Gray Australia.

Melbourne.

Toyota Avalon.

One car in the Shell series for Paul Stokell, and one car in the Konica series for Dean Crosswell, anyone remember him?

Both cars to run in the two enduros, gaurunteed entry for konica car, as we of course won that championship!!!

Enduro combinations to be: Paul Stokell/Joachim Winkelhock

Dean Crosswell/Alan Gurr

One car in the Nations Cup, running a Marcos Mantis Cup for Alan Gurr.

Also a Skoda Octavia WRC in the Australian rally championship for Cody Crocker and Greg Foletta.

I think that covers just about everything. We are looking into an open wheeler program, most likely being either Formula Ford or F3.

David Paterson Racing would actually buy Lakeside Raceway, hey we've got 14 mill here, why not? After revamping the facilities and leaving the track as it is, we would be based right there, testing would be dead easy.

We would buy the Perkins VT for me to drive in the Konica series, hey why not, i've got a CAMS licence and we'd build two new VXs for Wayne Wakefield and Jim Richards to drive in the Shell series. An excellent balance there of youth and experience, with talent to burn.

As for other classes, well that would be purely for the fun of it and when funds permit, the three of us would share a Historic Touring Car or two and a couple of Improved Production cars, a Mazda RX3 and a 2-litre twin-cam Datsun 1600.

I should read more next time..14 mill...

I add a third car for Craig Lowndes and buy Oran Park and repaint the 44 gallon drums and upgrade the rest of the facilities and resurface the track.

You have to take the sheep with the circuit although I understand the Velcro Gloves have been taken north to Queensland.

i missed the $14 million as well.

I'd buy the land that Amaroo Park used to be on and rebuild it and that could be my base, like Ferrari has in F1.
