BARC Wales Training Day....Your Thoughts

Firstly a big thank you goes to all the trainers that spared there time to help in the training session.
Secondly,18 newcomers/trainees were there for the day,if they enjoyed it as much as we did, they`ll be back.
All in all the day was well put together, very indept, very informative and very educational.
Including the quiz that run throught out the day,(even tho our post won it).
Couldn`t put anyone section 1st,as i enjoyed them all.

Had a great day and i found out that my overall still fits me after christmas.
Perhaps the fire training could have been a bit more in depth any comments?

Thought the walk around pit-lane & paddock were immaterial

i`m no expert on these matters, this how i see things and if in some way start a healthy debate about certain aspects of training that we can pass on to the club to assist them in training us in a way that we might get more benefit out of it.....
But not every thing can be covered in one day...
thats why i have chose to do 3 training days..
what i dont do or see in one,i might in the other and learn from a multipul ways of handling certain situations.
Fire training didn`t go in to that much depth, but i think no matter how much you put a fire out...
it aint going to be anything like the real thing, the basis of it i think were just to remind us the correct way to use it,and to get your fire sig if you required it.
There is so much that needs to be covered on a training day, they need to differ things and be practical with the amount of time...
there is also the cost of the extingusher that has to be taken in to account.
Did you put that on the feedback form to let them know...

As far as the pit lane and paddock walk about, there is a short supply of specialists,so in one way it was to promote that area and lets us Bank marshals see what happens on the other side of the fence.
Even tho we know what happens, sometimes its nice to get a short indepth view of what goes on .

DEVON.....so i take it that the reason why you stood behind everyone else on the start/finish straight when ernie & phil came hammering around is coz it didnt intrest you...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

scary cat

Do you want a bit longer to think before you come to a final decision
