Rodney Forbes

Seems Rodney Forbes for the past 2 years did not have his own sponsor

After some help from people i can not name last night i found this out.

Milk For When Your Racing is Bob Forbes, seems Bob did not want his son to have to run a plain car for the few rounds they did show up for last year and also rounds in 2002.

seems the crew at 00ms never knew it was Bob paying the Milk For When Your Racing sponsor money

I thought it was common knowledge that Dad was paying the bills.

No real suprise that the only sponsor he could get was his father, who else would want to put their product on the side of a car that spent most of it's weekend facing the wrong direction.

I though it was commonly know that Bob Forbes is one of the biggest Milky's in Australia. He buys and sells Milk almost like a commodity broker.

Mr Forbes business is apparently heavily involved in powdered milk, used in industrial applications as a food ingredient, and a significant export generator.

Milk of course has its place in the history of motorsport, with the Indy500 winner invited to drink a glass bottle of milk at the conclusion of the race, in celebration

I never really understood what a "milk when you are racing" brand would stand to benefit from motorsport, however there are many B2B marketing relationships that us normal everyday consumers may not appreciate

The name MPD Dairy Products or MILK POWDER DISTRIBUTORS may ring bells for people that live in Sydney.

MPD Dairy Products had a small logo on the 00motorsport cars last year. But the name did also change to
MILK POWDER DISTRIBUTORS at some rounds.

e-mailed Rodney about Milk For When Your Racing, at this stage have not even had a no comment from him.
