I think it's great that the new races are not afraid to bring in some version of local "flavor". I will say that F1 post race activates, while traditional are also stagnant and boring as they follow a super strict script. I think last years Austin GP post race celebration and podium was both weird and fantastic at the same time. Now some of that might have been a post Covid "bounce" of having a bunch of fans at the race, but there was a specific atmosphere that was very much US/Texas/Austin and I think the teams, drivers and even fans enjoyed it. Even if some of that involved some eye rolling. I think that is a fantastic thing. In the end, the right balance has to be found between tradition and new ideas. We may see some things tried that in the end are cringeworthy. An examples being the NFL helmets in Miami and the interview with "Chuck" Leclerc by Willy. As much as I thought the fake marina and boats was ridiculous it worked in a way. They will figure out what works and what doesn't. But I sure hope in the end it is not classic robotic podiums. I cringe a bit at some of the stuff already done by Liberty but I do applaud the idea of getting F1 out of the 19th century ideas it has been constrained by.
