Second year in a row starting from the back for them. Last year they got into the wall in qualifying.

Not dissatisfied with qualifying. BMW looks to have a bit of an edge, but Falken and the Vettes weren't far behind. Would've been interesting to see how it would've gone if another few laps had been run. Should be a good race tomorrow.

We will finally one GTE BMW Z4 at the forefront of meeting the American Le Mans Series Baltimore following the decommissioning of the Z4 BMW Team RLL GTE Joey Hand and Dirk Müller. The DTM driver was responsible for qualifying the car behind Bill Auberlen, which provided a good starting position on a street circuit in Baltimore not conducive to overtaking. At the end of the qualifying session, auditors noted a ride height of the Z4 GTE # 56 non-compliant. It must be said that at least one baffle tight and lined with two large vibrators, cars cashing a lot on every turn.

I heard rumours that the team wont be around come next year ..... but surely this didn't translate properly ?

They were trying to say that the bumps on the circuit broke some parts on their car and then they had a ride height infraction so they will be starting from the rear.

I'm not sure that Bourdais (or was it Pagenaud?) got quite that high just going straight over the tracks last year in opening practice. You do kind of wonder which is really worse.

Don't we mean if the Dyson doesn't break? It has been unfortunate, that when both Dyson and MM seem to have pace, one of them usually ends up in the pits with issues. Let's hope neither have mechanical problems.
