Obviously you are asking the wrong guy but I have read in reports that nearly everybody (Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, Corvette) have developed a 07 update. It is claimed in most cases that the update is about aero and weight reduction. I suppose there are other forum members that know the situation better.

I think the answer is that there are few if any changes for 07 to the Porsches.

The clue I suppose is in the list of cars that have 07 updates - How many races did they win between them in 06?

Graham this is taken from Tech9's press release after the tests in Monza:

The team now prepares for the next official test days at Nogaro,
France March 6/7, where the team will present the official Porsche
‘upgrade package’ for evaluation by the FIA.

Actually there is quite a big upgrade package including, 4 way adjustable dampers (which will make a huge difference as you can change hardly anythign at the moment on the cup car) and Downforce improvements. I forget the other things, but it's quite an update and it costs ££,£££ lol...

Yeah, I forgot we had Sean around.
I hope you will keep us updated with the updates on the RSR, I'd really like to know what they're developing on it.

Oh by the way, what is not exspensive when you have the 2 words racing and Porsche in the same sentence?

Looking on the FIA GT3 website it would appear that Team Berlanga (the new Ascari outfit....run by the factory) has Klaas Zwart and his daughter as the drivers....does anyone know who is driving the other two cars?

That raised a few heads over the partitions. Well, I couldn't listen to it quietly, could I?

True lol...! What is not expensive when you have anything with the word "racing" in, let along "Porsche" and "racing"!

I will keep you guys upto date, we as a team have quite a few updates comming, I am not going to state them here for obvious reasons though lol...

I've seen a GT3 entry list somewhere, that included a Ford GT but other lists don't, seems strange to have two different Fords on the grid.
What a popular and interesting series GT3 is turning out to be, too bad it isn't on TV over here.

Too bad the FIA doesn't let everyone race in it. I think the compulsory 3 cars per team isn't a good idea, I'm sure there are more teams wanting to run in the series, and there are too many cars already (I know, there's no such thing as too many cars, but you know what I mean).

No, I don't know what you mean. You say there should be more people let in, you say there are too many cars, you say there is no such thing as too many cars...I'm rather confused. What exactly do you think the FIA is doing right, and wrong, and why?

I don't necessarily agree with all their decisions either, but it's been a very successful championship in its first year, and reasonable numbers of GT3 cars are already finding their way into national championships, International GT Open etc.
