I believe the question has been asked regarding 'a sale' don't know what the response from Gow was. So there are rumblings that might fit the rumour.

I was going to ask who the hell ROKiT are, but just seen they were also announced today as sponsors of Williams F1

You'd think that creating an impressive black and red livery would be a relatively easy thing to do. They're two excellent racing colours to work with.

But nope...

Well despite what some think of my views on him and his place in BTCC, I am being honest when I say I wish him well and look forward to being surprised by Nic

That’s not a great livery, is it?!

Edit - looking closer it’s almost like the layout of it was already decided prior to Rokit being on board, their logo is on a black square rather than being integrated into the design.

Someone on Twitter desribing the livery as 'sick'. Looking at the Duo logo on the side, it is quite literally sick...

Either way, it's nice to see Nic bringing big brands into the BTCC... and despite not having a great track record so far, it is very admirable to see him back in the BTCC after what must've been a discouraging previous attempt and obviously because of his disablities. As always I wish him the best of luck!

I actually like the livery to be honest, Been looking forward to this season after having watched many years ago and loosing interest, with the TV coverage over the past couple of years it has aroused my interest again along with a couple of drivers who I hope will surprise there critics this year.

I like it too. Its daring! And dual bonnet stripes on a Ford are always amazing.

Coming from my previous motorsport interest this is actually quite tame, time will tell but this will look good on track I’m sure

I also love the livery. Yes it is sick, but in a good way.
Everyone complains about plain white cars, or not lazy designs- like in F1, and when something impressive comes around the corner, they complain again- internet in a sentence
As for Nic, I wish all the best, but to be honest, I think Motorbase will have a 2017 like year all over again with this trio.

Chances of Lewis showing up one round to support his brother? Not sure if I should've said that sarcastically or not...

Clearly haven't given enough clues...

This person hasn't raced for a while
The last race he did was in a sportscar championship
He was born in London
He's done some TV work
He's old enough to be Jake Hill's dad

That must give it away

So for the 7 remaining:

TPC - I am unsure on this one, I had thought this would be a random but from today's clues im goinging with the wildcard Johnny Herbert, still all will be revealed in 48 hours.

BTC- James Cole, I said at the start of silly season and I still think this now, James Ticketmaster sponsorships are the perfect tie in for BTC's 2018 sponsors to continue

XLR8 - I still think Ant Whorton Eals, he drove the car, has reasonable experience and im sure he would have got to know some of the guys in the team last year in Mini Challenge

PMR - Plato, I have again thought this for a while, as for the teammate, I still think Proctor, he has decent family money, gets on with the team and will be slightly easier meat for JP to beat rather than have him shown up by Cook as he has been by Sutton for the last few years.

BMR - If they show up it will be Sutton and whatever random has the biggest chequebook, im quite surprised Hamilton wasnt attracted there but I think he probably knows better than to jump onto a sinking ship. Maybe in light of recent rumors Andreas Backmann if there arent too many clashes?

Is the Scirocco R-Cup considered sportscar?

Or should I be looking at the British GT Championship?
